Role: Neighbourhood Services Manager (Internal Job Title)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Up to £31,778 per annum plus Car Allowance of £1,942 per annum
We’re on the look out for an experienced Housing Professional to join our fun-loving Neighbourhoods team in Sussex!
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are following Government guidelines and supporting our staff by adapting our processes in line with changes. All of our staff our working from home on a full time basis; your interview and induction for this role would be completed virtually.
When we are in a position to return to our offices, you'll be based in a dynamic co-working office space in Crawley! Parking is provided with access to a number of different networking and development opportunities.
As a Neighbourhood Services Manager, you will have your own patch of properties in Sussex, managing the tenancies, leases and communities within a multi-tenure portfolio. Acting as an ambassador for Moat, you will deliver a high quality service to our residents, providing advice and guidance where necessary. You'll own your estate inspections, ensuring that our residents are taking care of their homes and the community areas.
Your experience of working with managing agents will ensure our cleaning and gardening contracts are utilised to their maximum potential, making positive improvements to your patch area.
You will report to the Neighbourhood Operations Manager, and have other Neighbourhood Services Manager’s on your team, enabling you to support each other and share knowledge/experiences.
Who are we looking for?
• A good standard of education, with excellent verbal and written skills
• Demonstrable understanding of leases and tenancy agreements
• A sound awareness of Landlord, Leasehold and Tenant legislation and procedure
• A good awareness of welfare benefits, particularly Housing Benefits
• An awareness of occasions that require liaison with Social Services (e.g child protection, domestic violence)
• Appropriate means of transport
