Machine Packer

JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS 

We are looking for a very hands on person to ensure the safe packing of certain tools within a manufacturing and repair shop facility. Ideally the person will have has some Machine Minding experience along with packaging products in a warehouse environment.

Our clients says that there is the opportunity to be offered a perm contract after a period of time.

• Receipt of the products arrive packaged in Plastic or Cardboard box.

• The tools will also be identified by the client’s name and associated bar numbers according to the work lists. (Packing sheets) 

• Remove tools from boxes individually and carefully

• Clean the tools with a cleanser spray

• Dipping tools into hot water for cleaning- The tools will be lowered in by the means of a pulley.

• The tools are taken away to the grinding area and returned to the counter by the grinding person.

• Next process is to manually dip tools one at a time in hot oil using gloves provided by the client.

• The tools are now ready for packaging back into the original customers boxes.

Health and Safety

• Training will be provided

• Continuous supervision is ongoing provided by the Production manager

• Safety awareness is required- safety shoes worn at all times and Overall to be worn supplied by Personnel Selection
